ROLAND L.

Roland, a Nashville native, has been practicing yoga off and on since he was 15. He took his first 200 Hour Power Vinyasa Teacher Training in 2010 and since has completed two additional trainings focused on anatomy, Bikram/Hot 26 and Vinyasa. Additionally, he has studied yoga philosophy in India, and trained at the Kpjayi institute in Mysore India. Roland returned to college in 2012 and graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Biochemistry and Biology. After college he returned to Nashville to pursue teaching yoga full time. His practice and teaching incorporates traditional yoga methods and styles as well as techniques garnered from other styles of movement including gymnastics and calisthenics. He has a passion for teaching that comes from a genuine love of yoga and a gratitude for all the wonderful ways that yoga and those he has learned from have helped bring stability, health and contentment to his life.
