Trauma-Informed Yoga Workshop with Jess Mattson

Join Fahrenheit Yoga & Anomaly Therapy’s Jess Mattson for a workshop designed to educate attendees about trauma, the physiological relationship with trauma, and how and why yoga is an imperative tool in navigating our relationship with our bodies. The workshop will also include yoga application in the formal sense of practicing Asana, and a Q&A to follow.

Jess owns and operates Anomaly Therapy - a private practice that focuses on individual and couples counseling - and also offers mental health consulting services to companies and organizations looking to establish a culture that embodies employee benefits to include mental wellness and support. Anomaly Therapy primarily serves clients who suffer from high anxiety, trauma, relational issues, and/or life transitions. In addition to operating a mental health practice, Jess also teaches hot yoga at Fahrenheit Yoga. In an attempt to contribute towards establishing a more trauma-informed community, Jess is beginning to implement and offer trauma-informed yoga workshops to educate on the relationship the body forms with our experiences, and implement skill and coping mechanisms to navigate change in a safe way. The tenets of trauma-informed workshops mirror the foundation of the corporate consulting work brought to local organizations. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP
